Each day, Bay Cove provides effective, compassionate care to over 4,000 individuals and families who face the challenges of developmental disabilities, mental illness, drug and alcohol addiction and aging at over 130 sites in Boston and southeastern Massachusetts. At the annual IMPACT Conference October 28th at the Boston Convention Center, Charles Schwab gave its Best-in-Business award to The Colony Group. The Best-in-Business Award recognizes the "independent investment advisory firm that has elevated business management to new levels of excellence and achieved exceptional business results. This award also came with a $10,000 grant from Schwab to the charity of The Colony Group's choice. Kirby Hamilton, who now serves as Chairman of The Colony Group, says, "There are many wonderful charities, but our choice was easy. I have had the privilege of serving Bay Cove Human Services on its Board of Advocates for the past three years, and I have been moved by their tremendous commitment to the disadvantaged and underserved of Massachusetts."
