Insurance Plans

 

Health - Eligible employees are covered under the Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Plan.    Bay Cove contributes 60% of the Enhance Value Plan and the same dollar amount of the other two plans. After one year of employment the company will then pay 70% of the Enhanced Value Plan and the same dollar amount of the other two options.  Employees are eligible for medical insurance after 90 days.  Part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible with pro-rated agency contribution.  Coverage is available on both Individual and Family basis. PLEASE NOTE: You may receive your new health care card in the mail prior to your actual eligibility date, but your benefits are not covered until the 90th day of your employment with Bay Cove.

 

Dental - Optional, employee pays 100% of the group rate cost of the Delta Dental Plan.  Employees are eligible to join on the 25th day of the month after hire.  Coverage is available on both Individual and Family basis.

 

Long Term Disability - An insurance program that protects against loss of earnings while disabled on a long term basis.  It provides 60% of average week's wages.  This plan is paid for fully by Bay Cove/Center House.  Employees are eligible for enrollment two years from date of hire.

 

Short Term Disability - Optional life and disability insurance, for regularly scheduled employees working 20 or more hours.  Employee pays 100%.

 

Life Insurance - Group term life insurance is provided free of cost in an amount equal to annual salary after you have been employed for two years.  After 10 years of service, you will receive twice your yearly salary with a cap of 250K.

 

Accidental Death and Dismemberment - This insurance which is provided along with life insurance, is also cost free to the employee.  It provides insurance up to annual salary with a cap of $50K for death or dismembering injuries arising from accidental means.

 

Vacation

 

Vacation is credited semi-annually on the 6th month and yearly anniversary of employment according to the following schedule:

Retirement Savings Plan

 

A 403(b) Tax Deferred Annuity plan (TDA) is available with no waiting period.  The plan is 100% employee paid, through payroll deduction on a pre-tax basis.  After you have been employed two years, the agency will provide a match.

 

Other Services

 

Direct Deposit - Employee may choose to have payroll checks deposited directly into their bank accounts.

 

T Pass - We will purchase your T pass and deduct the monthly cost in weekly installments.

 

Dependent Care Expenses - Can be paid for with pre-tax dollars through payroll deduction.

 

Credit Union - The Metropolitan Credit Union offers a variety of financial services.  You can use payroll deduction for many transactions.
