KIT CLARK SENIOR HOUSING

KIT CLARK SENIOR HOUSING

The program offers:

  • Safe, comfortable units in a culturally diverse and supportive environment
  • Intensive case management focused on sobriety, employment, educational opportunities and money management
  • Participation in a supportive community
  • Coordination with medical, mental health, and addiction recovery services
  • Recreational activities such as cookouts, field trips and house meetings help increase socialization

Kit Clark has been providing supportive housing for more than 25 years. Resident Service Coordinators provide the stabilization and coordination of services that enable formerly homeless elders to thrive in a supportive community.

There are 85 units in four congregate programs: St. Helena’s Congregate Housing, Park Street Congregate, Talbot House, and Walnut Community Housing.

Medeiros Staff also coordinate resident services at Talbot Bernard Senior Homes and Ditson Street Senior Housing.

The Journey to Success Housing First program has 22 one-bedroom scattered-site apartments in Chelsea and Revere. Program funding is provided by the Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance and the Department of Public Health.

Transitional Housing

The Men’s Transitional Program helps homeless men make a successful transition to permanent housing and independent living. More than 1,500 men have completed the program and transitioned out of homelessness.
