Effective July 1, 2017, Bay Cove Academy, a longstanding Bay Cove program that has helped hundreds of young people take vital steps forward in their development and education, has become part of the Needham-based non-profit Justice Resource Institute (JRI).

The Academy, a therapeutic high school located in Brookline for students ages 12-21, will continue to serve adolescents with a history of emotional difficulties and/or learning disabilities who have struggled in a traditional learning environment, offering its highly-structured program of education, therapy, career counseling and transition services to help students segue into the world of work and/or higher education.

JRI is a leader in social justice, with over 100 diverse programs meeting the needs of underserved individuals, families and communities—including a number of educational programs like Bay Cove Academy. JRI’s day schools are known throughout the industry as leaders in academic excellence, providing quality education in a supportive, therapeutic environment to a wide range of middle and high school students.
