VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO JOIN BAY COVE'S HUMAN RIGHTS COMMITTEE

Volunteers Needed to Join Bay Cove's Human Rights Committee

Bay Cove is looking for nurses, masters' level behavioral specialists and attorney law students or paralegals to join our agency's Human Rights Committee. This committee helps us monitor and review our Human Rights program for adults with mental health challenges and adults with developmental disabilities.

Members of the committee attend monthly meetings (with a break during the summer months) and visit our programs to meet with those we serve. We provide an orientation to members upon joining, as well as ongoing training and support.

Time Commitment:

* Monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of each month, from 6-8 p.m. (excluding July and August)

* Monthly site visits, which are typically 1-2 hours in length

Responsibilities:

*Review Human Rights regulations, practices, policies and complaint processes at Bay Cove

If you'd be interested in volunteering, and helping Bay Cove ensure that all the men and women we serve are treated with the utmost dignity and respect, please join our committee! To learn more, contact Hilary Hughes ate hhughes@baycove.org or 617-371-3001.
