Responsibilities: Center Club is a psychiatric rehabilitation Clubhouse program for adults. The Clubhouse worker will support program members through the following: Facilitate the unit work and activities, as well as social activities, discussion groups, and outings. Food Service and Social Activities Clubhouse Worker description specifies: Facilitate meal planning and preparation Facilitate social activities, discussion groups, and outings. Function as key staff member for assigned members, including supporting members’ community participation, and developing Action Plans and accompanying documentation and maintaining contact with members’ community providers including attending treatment team meetings and providing advocacy
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, and at least one year’s experience working with adults with psychiatric disabilities. Bachelor’s degree may be waived by two additional years of experience. Ability to relate to individuals who possess a wide range of abilities and skills. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a culturally diverse population of members, other providers, family and community partners. Ability to relate to groups of all sizes. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively as a member of multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams. Ability to juggle multiple priorities, and exercise good judgment. Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Conflict resolution or mediation skills. Flexibility in responding to needs of program and members. Computer Skills. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Ability to satisfactorily complete a writing sample. An acceptable CORI and drug test results.
