Responsibilities: The Quality Assurance Specialist reports to the Office Manager and works in collaboration with Treatment Center staff including nursing, counseling, case management, billing and administration to ensure ongoing monitoring of the program’s service delivery process. You will: Check medical records to ensure that they meet quality assurance standards. Organize and maintains a tracking system to ensure medical records remain in compliance Works with a multi-disciplinary team to promote and monitor quality assurance standards. Create and maintain tracking systems to ensure medical record compliance. Run reports as required from the EMR. Ensure that medical records meet the quality assurance standards. Ensure proper documentation and required signatures are in place. Responsible for the maintenance of client records.
Qualifications: BS or BA and minimum 2 years professional experience Experience with medical records auditing preferred Quality assurance experience preferred Knowledge of billing guidelines in regards to medical documentation. Excellent time management, communication and organizational skills Reliable and dependable Detail oriented Ability to communicate effectively Ability to set up effective tracking systems Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary setting
